Nature's Unique Care Pets

Now days we have so many different things out there to give to our pets. Some of it good, some of it bad. I believe in caring and loving our pets the way God intended. That means to not only SPOIL THEM but also to provide them with great health and a great life.

In doing that, we have to find the things that is best for them so they can be with us for a very long time. That companionship is extremely important not only to me but to my family as well. I believe our pets teach our children what true friendship is and loyalty is just as important.

I remember coming home from school after a bad day dealing with a mean kid or two and my cat and dog greeted me at the door. They made me feel like I was the most important thing in their lives. Our pets are a big part of our lives and I want to make a difference in prolonging that relationship between us and them.

My idea was introducing such things as:

  • Organic pet foods
  • Organic litters and bedding
  • All Natural cleaners
  • Unique toys
  • Chew toys
  • cages and kits
  • Bonding pouches
  • Sleeping pouches
  • All natural vitamins
  • All natural shampoo's
  • Grooming supplies
  • Collars and Leashes
  • Litter boxes
  • Flea and Tick preventatives
  • Treats
  • Doggie Diapers
  • Puppy Pads
  • Outfits
  • Pet Strollers
  • Books
  • The list goes on and on...and on...and on...
  • These supplies will be for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchilla's, hamsters, birds, sugar gliders, well... basically for any small animals and critters. Now I will be starting small and adding a little as I go so bear with me!

Well...you get the idea. Now mind you, I am a far cry from getting this up and running. That's why I need your help. This has started as a dream. I pray that I can succeed in making it come true.

God Bless,

Michelle;

How My Kittie's Found Me...

Where My Kitties Come From

In one of my previous posts, I had told you that all of my cats are rescues. But I do need to clarify that one of them (Gypsy) was actually given to me after my 17 year old cat died. The story behind that is...

A great friend of mine was getting married at the time and during that time, my 17 year old cat passed away. Her fiancee' didn't care for cats and she is also more of a dog lover anyway. So after Tigger died, she had given me Gypsy and she went out and got her a Dachshund puppy. She is soooo cute!! Her name is 'Chloe'!

Anyway, ALL of my cats are rescues except for Gypsy. She is a Himalayan and is absolutely beautiful an soo, soo sweet!!

Here's the REST OF THE STORY...of my rescued sweeties

"Gypsy" : is a beautiful long haired Himalayan with the biggest blue eyes! Like I said above, she wa given to me after my 17 year old blue and white Tigger passed away. Tigger was a wedding present. He has been gone now almost 3 years.

Gypsy is the sweeeeetiest kitty in the world! My friend had picked her out of a litter of kittens and raised her with lots of love. We now spoil her even more and she is a very happy, healthy kittie. She loves to be petted and LOVES to talk to you. And those big blue eyes will melt your heart.

"Katie": is a female long haired Tortoiseshell Calico. She came home with me one day when I was in the pet store. Someone had brought in a couple cats and I had only lost my 'Orphan' another Tortoiseshell Calico about 3 years earlier. I was still pining for her and when I walked by ( I was on my way out the door), 'Katie' was sitting there looking right at me.

I asked to see her and when I held her in my arms, she relaxed and looked right up at me with complete and utter trust and I think we fell in love with each other that very moment. She looked just like my 'Orphan' and I just started to cry. I HAD to have her. She was free so I took her home!
She loves to jump on my back and lay while I am bending over. She likes to lay on me when I am on the floor and she also jumps into my arms, just like a dog! And she loves my little boy to death!!! Katie took to my little boy instantly and have been inseparable ever since!

I can't imagine my life without her! She is SPOILED ROTTEN!

"Emily": is a female grey and silver, black striped Tabby with simi-long hair. I got her at a yard sale one day.She was 5 weeks old when I brought her home. The owners cat had a litter of kittens and she wasn't even winged yet when I picked her out. After a couple weeks, I was able to bring her home and she is SPOILED ROTTEN! I consider her rescued due to the fact the owners told me that most of their cats always disappeared or get run over!
Emily is a very playful kittie and loves to try to 'squeeeeze' into tiny places with her 'big' body.
She is a mess!!

"Honeybunn": is a pure bred, flat faced Diluted Calico Persian and is an elderly cat. She was found by a friend of mine roaming the neighborhood wet and all matted. She took her to the vet and had her shaved and examined. She also had developed an infection in her eyelids which caused cysts in her eyes. The vet said there is nothing they can do. Her cysts are getting bigger everyday and are really causing her some grief. I had also since gotten her shaved and re-examined, and caught up on shots and such.

My friend could not keep her because of her not getting along with her other cat. ( Her other cat has always been a loner ) so of course...I took her. Honeybunn we guess is about 12 or 13 years old and barely have any teeth. She LOVES to be brushed and is definitely a lap cat. I only wish I could have found her when she was a baby. She also has nerve damage in her back legs and spine we assume is from a previous injury of some kind.

All I can do is love her and spoil her and give her the best quality of life I can while she is still with me. She is definitely a very special kittie. She could've been a "show cat" for sure. That's how gorgeous she is.

"Carmella" : is a pure bred flat faced Tortoiseshell Persian that I rescued from a cat hoarder. When I mean "rescued"... I mean "RESCUED"! The house she was staying in was so filled with animals and COVERED in urine and feces. My husband went over to the house once and he said the smell literally knocked him and our little boy down. He said he could smell it even before they opened the door.
The person that had her, said that she would be no count to ANYONE because all she does is hide and is very unsociable. ( almost ferrel ). She was all matted and I took her and had her shaved and examined and vaccinated.

Come to find out... all she needed was L O V E !!!! Imagine that!!!!
She is now one of our most spoiled cats and is definitely my husbands cat. She had bonded to him very quickly since we brought her home. Probably because of where she came from!!

Carmella is now one very fat, lazy, healthy, HAPPY cat and is about 3 -4 years old now. She has alot of love to give and boy does she give it!! What a difference it makes in the environment an animal is in! DUH!!

"Celia" : (I just recently found out by doing research on her) is a pure bred Toy,doll faced, silver shaded, smoke tabby. With papers, she is worth from $800-$1200!! But...she doesn't have papers. I had been curious of her breed because I had never seen one like her before, ever. Just on television.
Celia also came from the animal hoarder and was basically unsociable as well. When my husband went to the house about Carmella, he said that there were about five or six more running around just like Celia. He felt so sorry for those animals. He wanted to take them ALL home. I wish we could have.
We are considering turning them into the ASPCA . NO animal should live in those conditions. And they had small children in the house!!...Breathing in that ammonia oder!! They said that Celia wouldn't be any count as well. NO WONDER!! Would you if you lived in those conditions??!! DUH!!!

Celia is now an EXTREMELY lovable kittie and is definitely a lap cat! I also had to have her shaved and examined along with vaccinations.

KATIE, EMILY, GYPSY, HONEYBUNN, CARMELLA, and CELIA are ALL doing FANTASTIC and are in a very loving and CLEAN environment to live a full, happy, and HEALTHY life. Each and everyone of them tug at my heartstrings and they always will have a very special place in my heart.

And that's....the REST of the story!

God bless and thanks for "listening"!
